Guys, if you havn’t already checked out MOD-CASE i would recommend you do so straight away!
They design cases for the IPhone 4/4s , iPhone 5, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4
I recently received my case from them yesterday and i cant believe how amazing it is. The feel, texture, look and most importantly the aesthetics of the case are amazing!
When holding it in your hand you really do feel like your holding on to something so luxurious and well built.
The case sounds the phone so well encasing it in a wooden surround with edges made from black polycarbonate protecting it from those drops and bumps. After all your phone now is your life so it needs to both look great and be protected.
Here is some ABOUT information taken from the website itself :
Welcome to MOD-CASE, providing premium phone cases for high-end smart phones. With companies spending millions on the design and looks of your phone, our goal is to create cases that compliment it not insult it, and achieve this while providing the highest level of quality and functionality we can.
When we consider materials, designs and manufacturers, we have one thing in mind: developing a product that is premium in terms of looks, feel and function.
During a conversation over a cup of coffee at home on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia, we noticed that people tend to wrap their expensive high-end phones in tacky uninspired cases. We realised that there is a major gap in the market for affordable phone cases that not only protect peoples valuable devices but compliment the design and enhance the overall look. That day the idea of MOD-CASE was born.
The idea was born in the minds of 3 full-time students, all with a mind for creative flare: A Businessman/freelance photographer/father, a Teacher/drummer and Doctor/guitarist. This combination of 3 different approaches to logic and 3 different approaches to creativity complimented one another in a way we couldn’t of predicted and we found ourselves agreeing on idea after idea and the ‘bigger picture’ became so much bigger!
At first, we found ourselves asking each other “So, are we actually going to do this?”. With no previous experience, it was a steep learning curve to develop a company from the ground up and every step of the way seemed to take longer than we anticipated…but 4 months later we had made some progress: we had a website, we had stock and we even had ideas for totally unique designs already in the barrel.
The phone case market seemed like a brilliant idea, but it quickly became apparent that it was a field FULL of competition and the only way to get ahead is to set yourself apart. We never entered this game to be another company selling another product – this is about developing a brand beyond the product that people will want to be a part of, about connecting with people not order numbers. MOD-CASE enters the market bringing phone cases based not just on aesthetics, not just on protective abilities and not just on quality but aims to combine all 3 on a level unfamiliar to the world. Once we had in our heads the design we wanted for our first lot of cases, it was a matter of scrutinising the quality of sample work from as many manufactures as we could afford to try – ripping cases apart, twisting and throwing them, dropping them with phones in them all to achieve a promise of next level looks, function and quality.
When we had settled on the materials and combinations we wanted to use all of which were based around wood, it was back to re-examine manufacturers who had proved they could achieve the premium quality we were after and ask one question: What about the environment? The Central Coast is a beautiful place immersed in bush lands and beaches (another passion we all share, spending countless hours together in the surf every chance there is), and the environmental impact we could have was something that instantly dropped in all our minds. This limited our choice of manufacturers, but something we are passionate about, and we were blessed to come into contact with a manufacturer with a similar passion for environmental sustainability and had a direct affiliation with The Arbor Day foundation. MOD-CASE promises the replanting of 10 trees in bush-fire devastated regions for every 1 tree used to manufacture MOD-CASE. Have a read of our blog on the environmental sustainability of MOD-CASEfor even more information:
We are proud of where MOD-CASE has come in such a short time and the ideas we have for the future are so big that we intimidate ourselves! Still being based in the spare room of a house on the Central Coast of NSW Australia and shipping cases off every week to places as far as the USA, Canada and the UK is an amazing progression and we are excited for you to be onboard as much as we are riding the exciting roller coaster that is MOD-CASE.
