Not many of you will have heard of Lum-Tec watches. They are a family run, USA based business that strives for perfection and quality.

The specific watch that was sent to us is the M53 Bronze. A new addition to the Lum-Tec family and what a beauty it is. From taking it out the box we put it straight to the test of London life.. RAIN!!!

The M53 Bronze is part of Lum-Tec’s limited-edition bronze series of men’s wristwatches. The M53 has a solid CuSn8 bronze case that will develop a patina over time. Each case is unique and will tarnish differently, and the corrosion actually protects the metal underneath. Choose whether to polish it back to new or allow it take on its own unique character. The wrist watch comes with two watch straps: a brown leather strap and an anti-static molded rubber strap. The M53 is water-resistant at a depth of 300 meters and is part of a limited numbered series of 300 watches. A free lifetime of timing adjustment and a limited one-year warranty are also included with purchase

When you receive your watch you get a beautifully crafted wooden box. Inside is the watch and then two hidden compartments to hold watch straps (Black rubber and Tan Leather). The black leather with white Stitch is an extra charge. Such a great little detail with the compartments but makes the world of difference. Such a great idea.
Now for the London weather….
You can see the quality of craftsmanship that has gone into the design of this beautiful watch. The case design is stunning. It fits on the wrist beautifully and looks great. It is a heavy watch but when it’s on your wrist you don’t realize you have a watch of this size on. The size of the watch is 44mm width excluding crown.

In my opinion this is a stunning watch and Lum-Tec have done a simple amazing job designing it. It really is a beautiful everyday watch that is an eye catcher. They also have the M54 Bronze, which is a brown dial if you were looking for something different maybe?

The way that Lum-Tec layer their watches with luminous glow is amazing. They do 8 Layers and it gives off an amazing Lume (Glow in the dark).
